Christian was the sweetest, kindest, funniest boy you could ever be lucky enough to know. He loved Spider-Man, Star Wars, Legos, and dancing. He was a friend to everyone that knew him. He was selfless in his actions. He loved his family, pets, friends, and made someone laugh every single day. He was wise beyond his years and made an impact on so many simply by his beautiful smile and kind words.

When he was 8 years old, he began complaining of headaches and blurred vision coupled with occasional vomiting. When his parents took him to the hospital, they were told it was a virus and he was were sent home. They then rallied the help of his pediatrician to voice their concerns. A CT scan revealed a mass in his head. Their lives were forever changed when they heard the words "brain tumor.” The doctors were able to fully resect the tumor, but Christian lost most mobility of his left side and he had to relearn normal tasks, such as walking. After a month of rehabilitation, he endured 6 weeks of proton radiation followed by an intense regimen of chemotherapy.

After completing several months of chemotherapy and nearing the end of his treatment plan, Christian began having seizures. It turns out he had relapsed, and the cancer was now in his brain fluid. There were no more treatment options. Christian passed away at the age of 9 after a heroic 11-month fight.

This fund was created to keep his memory alive and celebrate his life. Our hope is to find better cancer treatment options for children so they have a better chance of survival and do not have to endure the long-term effects of these barbaric treatments. Please join us in raising funds so all children have a better chance of a cure and the opportunity to thrive beyond treatment. #rameystrong
