We started raising money this year in honor of Hana Monicken (from Fairbanks, AK). Hana is a 10 year old girl who has been in San Francisco undergoing treatment since she was 9 years old for what was initially a brain tumor and in November 2012 was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. It is with heavy heart that we will now be raising money in memory of Hana, as she passed away on Saturday February 16th, 2013. She will be greatly missed and will always be our little angel looking out for us from above. We have answered the call to be heroes! We've teamed up to have our heads shaved – to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
