This year the members of the Summit Police Department will participate in their 9th St. Baldrick’s head shaving team. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation funds children’s cancer research. To date we have raised over $86,000 dollars for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

How it works: St. Baldrick’s participants pledge to shave their heads in exchange for donations. The members of the department will be participating in a head shaving event at the VFW hall in Lockport, IL on March 10th. We are asking that you donate to the cause on behalf of our team. Donations can be made via the internet or by mail.

Can you think of anything more important than saving the life of a child?

And what’s even better than shaving your head to give hope to kids fighting cancer? Coming together as a team to raise more money!

This is the 25th year of St. Baldrick’s raising funds for research to find cures for kids with cancer. And while great progress has been made, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive.

Please join us or support our team with a donation that will fuel critical discoveries, develop new treatments, and save lives.

Together, we can accelerate the next 25 years of cures for kids with cancer!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
