Stephanie Austin was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, stage IV in August 2010. She fought the battle of her life, completing 14 rounds of chemo, two high dose chemo with stem cell rescues and 25 days of radiation along with all the surgeries, blood work, fevers, etc. that go along with this difficult, aggressive treatment. Scans were conducted in December 2011 following completion of the treatment road maps. Thankfully, the scans showed NED. Unfortunately, remission was short-lived and Stephanie's cancer returned only a few short months later. Stephanie went through additional chemotherapy, radiation treatments and surgeries. After fighting this terrible disease three times, Stephanie passed away on November 20, 2013. She was hoping and praying that we could find a cure in time. Although the cure was not found in time for her life to be saved, she would still hope that everyone donate whatever they can to help St. Baldricks"Conquer Kids Cancer" !!!

SO ... we are shaving our heads in honor and in memory of Stephanie Austin to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
