EVERY DONATION IS A STEP CLOSER TO A CURE I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures!. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation in the name of my niece, Ayven Trestick. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. AYVEN'S STORY My niece, Ayven Trestick, was diagnosed on 12/12/12 with neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive cancer only found in children. She was barely 16 months old when they found a grapefruit sized tumor in her abdomen. The tumor is currently inoperable due to it having tentacles wrapped around her aorta. Since Ayven's initial diagnosis, she has endured more than ANY kid should have to endure. She finished her third round of chemotherapy on 01/28/13 and is scheduled to have round four on 02/18/13. Ayven has been handling everything very well and the tumor has shrunk considerably so far. Ayven has done well, but that is not the case with many of the children out there. I want to help fund research that will hopefully one day find a cure to all childhood cancers. No child should be subjected to this horrible disease! Visit Ayven's Facebook page to follow Ayven's battle by searching for "Savin' Ayven" or visit http://www.facebook.com/pages/Savin-Ayven/271547516302090 Thank you for your donation! Jay
