Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

  • Kimberly Madrid photo

Ryan was a child full of true joy -- not just happiness -- but real joy. There were moments, little fleeting glimpses, when I would look at him and I would see something more than my little boy. Something like the face of God. I miss him so much.

In honor of Ryan and in support of all the other children who have suffered from this disease, I've signed up to shave my head in St. Baldrick's annual "46 Mommas Shave for the Brave" event. I'd love it if you would help me stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer -- by making a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation, by joining our team, or by sharing Ryan's story on Facebook or Twitter.

This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Click the "Donate" button to give online, or you can donate by phone or mail. Thanks, y'all. Much love and hugs.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
