St. Baldrick’s raises more money for childhood cancer research grants than anybody except the Federal Government. 82% of every dollar raised goes directly to the research. And it makes a difference: the cure rate for the most common childhood cancer (which accounts for ~1/3 of all childhood cancers) was 3% in the 1950s but is currently at ~90%! It makes a difference.
