We are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! This year Team Liberty is supporting a good friend Ken E. from the greater Chicago area and the "Faith Based Cancer Support Group" out of Valparaiso, IN . Join us this year by donating, shaving your head or both! If you live too far from the event in Valpo you can shave at a event closer to you or do yours "Virtually" from the comfort of your own home! Last year Team Liberty raised over $600 for St Baldrick's and childhood caner research in the 4 short weeks it was in action. I am hoping to at least double that this year. Liberty is an amazing word and we chose it for several reasons, the best way to think of it is freedom on steroids.  Freedom from everything outside of what you allow to affect you. While it holds several meanings, in philosophy it refers to "free will" vs determinism.  In theology it means "freedom from the bondage of sin". Some background on St Baldrick's- Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
