Welcome to our 5th annual Shave for a Cure. We are shaving our heads in solidarity and we hope you can support us this year as we become walking bill boards for Kids Fighting Cancer.

We are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.Since 2009 a group of caring and a little bit crazy Aquarion Water Company employees joined forces to help raise funds for childhood cancer research. Over the last 4 years many of our co-workers, family and friends have donated what they could, to help us in raising money for this noteworthey cause. Aquarion Water Company has also taken a supporting role in donations and helping us to "Get the Word Out" while we continue to help support Childrens Cancer Research. If you would like to join our team, that would be awesome! If not, would you be willing to make a donation? Even if it's only a few dollars, like water drops in a bucket, it all adds up. If you've supported us in the past I just want to Thank You for your support. We couldn't have done it without your generous donations. We're always looking for new team members so please consider becoming a Shavee. Volunteering on the day of the event is always an option too.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.Thank you so much for supporting Team Aquarion. Come see us on April 6 th as we'll be Going Bald for a Cure for the 5th year in a row. On behalf of past years team members and this years team I want to express my appreciation and gratitude for your support. BALD IS BEAUTIFUL!!! Paulie Holy cow...Almost 1 week away from the Shave. I sent out a E-Mail to all my friends at the Easton Fire House regarding this year's event. I hope some of the Guys can participate....you Ladies are always welcome too. You don't have to be an employee of Aquarion Water Company to join the Team. The only requirement is a desire to have a good time, raise money/donations for St. Baldrick's and have fun doing it. I'm waiting for some big time Shavees to join our Team.....CEO's, CFO's , Fire Chiefs and YOUR next door neighbors..nothing to worry about! Your hair will grow back. I've actually seen hair growth stimulated by a good Shaving. So ,join our Team today...you'll be glad you did. And...so will the kids. Thanks again....Paulie 4/9/14 Our Hair is gone!! Special Thanks to Our Team Shavees this year. Jon Burke, John Burns, Craig Cornut and Bruce Tomasko. I apologize for not updating sooner. I've been glued to the TV watching the UCONN Husky Basketball Teams once again, make history. No phone calls during my Standby so that made me happy. But, what really made me happy was the donations we've had this year. You can still donate to the team or any individual team members...do it now and if you do, you can do it in someone's Honor, Memory or someone's behalf. You don't have too, just a suggestion. I did send out some pictures. We do have a group shot but, John Burns is not in it because we took it before he got there. I will post one eventually. I need to photo shop it, I think...I talked to Dana McCreesh yesterday. Her son is Brent, this fundraiser's Namesake "Team Brent" She told me Brent just got back from Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston and got a good report from the Doctor's. He's been Cancer free for 8yrs. and 10months. Brent gets nothing from St.Baldrick's financially but, what he gets is unconditional caring from people like you, who donate there hard earned dollars to find cures for Childhood Cancer Research. Starting with Awareness and following through with Research your donation makes it possible for hope that the kids and their families need. We remember all our SBF Angels. Thank you all for your support! "CRAVE THE SHAVE"
