In October 2010, Holden was diagnosed with Stage IV Anaplastic Wilms Tumor. He went through seven months of treatment and enjoyed fourteen months NED (no evidence of disease), until another tumor appeared on his remaining kidney. Since August 2012, Holden has gone through an additional seven months of treatment. The second tumor was Stage III Anaplastic Wilms Tumor, and doctors could not save his kidney so Holden started dialysis in November and will be a candidate for transplant in the future.
Like many battling cancer, Holden lost his hair during his treatments. We teamed up to have our heads shaved – to stand in solidarity with Holden and the many kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find CURES.
Please support us with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when we ask for your support, we're really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
