Hi all! Our Team SarahBean was established in 2012. Our family was touch with the unthinkable in September of 2008 when Sarah Marie Williams, age 11, was diagnosed with PNET, Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumor. We pulled together as a family in every way possible to support Sarah and her Dad, Mom, and brother Brian and each other. It was a roller coaster of emotions and events, as many families know and understand all too well. Sarah pulled out of a coma that amazed even her doctors. She was a fighter and an inspiration to all.
Unfortunately, on January 7, 2009, our Sweet SarahBean lost her battle. She serves as a reminder to each and every one of us that life is precious and we need to enjoy every day of it. Her story is one of many children who are diagnosed every day with terminal cancer. We have established our team of brave head shavers and volunteers to raise money and awareness. Please donate today in honor of our sweet Sarah to help us raise money to stomp out childhood cancer.
We've teamed up to have our heads shaved – to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support us with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when we ask for your support, we're really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
