Celebrating 25 Years

I was wearing my St. Baldrick's shirt from last year when my son, Sean, asked me what it said. When I told him, he asked me if it was the holiday. I reminded him that St. Baldrick's is where I raise money and shave my beard every year. Then he asked me what was the cancer that his sister had. I told him, Leukemia. Then he asked, "Is that the same kind your special friend had? You know, the one I am named for!" Love this kid! I explained to him that he is named after my cousin, who did indeed have Leukemia. We chatted about him and my daughter and some of the other children we know who have cancer. Then he said, "I'll do it!" I asked, "Do what?" "Shave my head," he replied! "In honor of your cousin and my sister, I want to shave my head," he added. So, here we are, team IHM SHAVING! Please help Sean and I reach our goal and help St. Baldrick's eliminate childhood cancer. Any amount will help.
