Gracious Supporters: The UWCSEA-East team has raised over US$12,000 (combining with what was raised on the night of the event), and donations are still coming in! This number will be matched by the Singapore Government dollar-for-dollar for a grand total of almost $25,000. And although the web site shows a little over $130,000 (http://www.stbaldricks.org/events/mypage/4875/2012), the actual number broke $150,000 this year! As you will see, the event was exciting, fun, moving, and inspiring. Many of the children were interviewed, and the people were struck by the children’s eloquence. There were lots of tears in the crowd when the girls lost their beautiful locks.
