Come kickoff the Holiday season in style with The NYC Fashionista and Bridget O'Brien! Bridget and Tiffany are fixtures on the NYC social scene and have started a wonderful charity called 'Cocktails that Care' to benefit many worthy causes. For the Holiday kickoff, proceeds from the Cocktails that Care event will be donated to the St. Baldricks Foundation, www.stbaldricks.org. Cocktails that Care Holiday Kickoff will be Tuesday, November 15, at 7pm-11:30 at beautiful and elegant Pranna Lounge/Cellar Bar 79 Madison Avenue #2. The evening will be filled with many surprises, including, a Holiday Party Dress Boutique sponsored by The NYC Fashionista (thenycfashionista.com), an online designer consignment boutique. Find the perfect dress to wear for any upcoming Holiday party. A portion of the sales from the dress boutique will go the St. Baldricks Foundation. Bridget O'Brien and her PR and Events firm have gone all out in planning every detail of this event to make it a unique Holiday experience! There will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and live entertainment by Author/Singer/Songwriter, Michael Sheahan. He will be performing songs from his album "Some Things Never Change" and from his book, Mr. Holidays Presents: The Rooftop Hop. He will also be doing book signings and donating a portion of proceeds to St. Baldricks. Start your Holidays off right with good friends, good cheer and good fashion! Ticket Sales: Advance Tickets are $30 if purchased by November 1. You may purchase them here: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=ZT85FVLRLBXX4 Tickets purchases after November 1 and at the door will cost $35. Bridget and Tiffany are very excited to raise awareness and funds while creating an unforgettable evening. If you have any questions or would like to have your company sponsor this event, send us an email:infor@bridgetobrienprandevents.comor info@thenycfashionista.com or visit www.bridgetobrienprandevents.com and www.thenycfashionista.com for additional information. Bridget O'Brien began her career as a teacher in a NYC Public School in the Bronx. While teaching she founded a PR and Events Firm that she ran while working full time as a second grade teacher. The business met much success and led to Bridget's continuous involvement in many forms of charity work. Bridget became one of the premiere charity organizers and publicists in NYC as well as helping launch careers and brands of many first class individuals and establishments. In 2010, Bridget decided to take leave from teaching and dedicate her time to her newborn daughter, Bridget O'Brien PR and Events Firm, and vast forms of charity work. Tiffany Troiano works on Wall Street and runs the online designer consignment boutique called The NYC Fashionista (thenycfashionista.com) that sells 'secondhand designer fashion for first class people.' Founded in 2010, the boutique offers new and gently used fashion forward designer pieces and provides a great alternative to making extra money on items that are no longer used. Tiffany has leveraged her business model to partner with charities to host successful events such as the recent 'Fashionistas for Philanthropy' event held at Goldbar NYC in June 2011. After attending countless cocktail parties and social functions over the years on the NY social scene it dawned on Bridget that if the people attending such events could focus their time and financial resources on having a good time as well as doing good for others so many people could benefit. She shared these ideas with Tiffany and soon Cocktails That Care was born. Over the years Bridget and Tiffany's tireless charity work has benefited many people in need. The two women and their board of directors are committed to creating amazing, entertaining, top notch events for attendees that will generate great revenue for whichever charitable organization they donate to.
