Celebrating 25 Years

That's right, team Pretty Penguin is shaving again! This year, Greg and newcomer Alex will be shaving their heads. Steffi and Lauren are going to cut their hair short and make a substantial donation to Locks of Love. Could you please make a donation to support us? Thanks! Did you know 1 in 330 kids will get childhood cancer before they turn 20? Did you know 46 children will be diagnosed with cancer today? And 7 will die today. Childhood cancer is terribly underfunded. St.Baldrick's raises funds to find a CURE! Could you help? Our son, Nolan, was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma when he was 10. He endured 43 weeks of chemo, 28 days of radiation, 3 surgeries, an incredible amount of needle pokes, 22 hospital stays, and 29 blood/platelet transfusions. Luckily, Nolan is doing well today. He's 13, plays football and basketball and is doing well in school. Aside from some radiation damage to his hair follicles, you wouldn't know the battle he's fought. Our team name, the Pretty Penguins, is in honor of Boston, Nolan's faithful treatment companion.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
