Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

Growing up as a young child my family and I were affected by childhood cancer. My family and I are very grateful for the wonderful doctors and support of different foundations. We are blessed that my sister was so well taken care of and had the strength to get through. It's now time to give back and help raise money and get people more involved and aware. I became involved with this foundation in meeting a family who was also affected by childhood cancer. Tanya Connoly Walsh and Will Walsh and thier son Keelin Walsh will be celebrating 5 years of Keelin being cancer free on March, 17 2010. My heart goes out to them because the sense of relief is something I can also understand. In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail, phone or see me in person. Also please join us on March 14, 2010 at The Harp Irish Pub in Roswell at 1pm and either participate or watch our shavee's let their hair go!! It is always a great time for kids and adults. Thank you for your support!
