Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

A.J. Renner & Associates aka Team Alicia!!!!

While Team A.J. Renner & Associates has been a huge supporter of the St. Baldrick's cause for the last five years, this year is a little more important to all of us. Alicia Sheridan and her family have joined our team and Alicia has been an inspiration to all of us. Alicia Sheridan is 16 and was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma in early 2007. Through St. Baldrick's and donators like you, grant funds have been distributed to over 230 institutions for laboratory research to help make clinical trials available to more children than ever, giving them treatments that offer the best chance for a cure. One $200,000 grant was presented to a ground-breaking partnership of the combined pediatric oncology teams at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Rush Medical Center and Stroger Hospital. Alicia and her two younger brothers who were brave enough to shave their heads at the event, can be seen on the team photo where Alicia helped donate the check. What cool dudes! A.J. Renner & Associates has raised approximately $75,000 over the last five years for this wonderful cause, and with your help we may be able to break the $100K mark this year. Along with the A.J. Renner team, many of Alicia's friends and family will be joining the shavee list, including several of her uncles and her two younger brothers aged only 7 and 6! Way to go guys! If you would like to be a shavee or volunteer your time, please join via this web site. Besides the obvious benefits to children, please note that all contributions are tax deductible. It is simple, donate on-line and you help children courtesy of Uncle Sam. Please click on a shavee or the team page to make your donation and thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts! Now let's break our target of $50K and remember Bald is beautiful! Shaving is at Fado's on Grand Avenue March 14th. Time: TBA
