We are hosting our annual UHGS volleyball game/picnic to help raise money and awareness for childhood cancer research through the St. Baldrick's organization.

The volleyball game will be April 23rd, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm at Kapiolani Park. Drinks and food will be provided with buy-in.

$10 buy-in

$20 buy-out

We encourage all members of the UH Manoa Earth Science Department and HIGP to attend, whether you are able to play volleyball or not! We also welcome all friends/family members, and during our game, there will be pizza and beverages provided.

If you cannot attend our event we suggest a minimum donation of $20 to help show your support toward our cause.

Our UHGS Softball Team has a fundraiser goal of $1,000. Our donations will go towards the larger 11th Annual Honolulu St. Baldrick's Event fundraising goal, which is being hosted by a member of our department, Wendy Cockshell.

Please support our team with a donation to save lives. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research, but donations have been down sharply since the pandemic.
