Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

The Moriartys of Newtown are back, and we've added a teammate!

Brendan and I will be shaving our heads for the 9th time, and this year, my daughter Megan is joining us, donating 8 inches of her hair to the cause!

St. Baldrick's mission resonated with us from the first time Brendan mentioned it to us, all those years ago, and having Megan join the team this year, when Brendan is away at school, continues this tradition that means so much to us.

If you are new to our family effort, Brendan and Megan's Aunt Meg died very young from Leukemia before Regina was born. But the entire family knows Meg, as she has been a central part of the family for her parents, siblings, and her 17 nieces and nephews. The work of St. Baldrick's means a great deal to us.

We also honor Oliver Edson. The son of Jennifer and Luke Edson, two high school friends of mine, Oliver passed away several years ago.

Thank you for taking the time to read why we have done this, and thank you in advance for sharing our effort, and donating if you're able.
