Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

Dear Family and friends,

For the sixth year in a row, I’m going to do something pretty extreme and for the second time, my 8 year old son Charlie is going to be joining me!!!! I am so very proud of him for his passion and desire to part of this great cause!!!! We are writing to ask you to join me in one of two ways: You can do what we are doing, or you can support us with a donation for childhood cancer research!

What are we doing? Charlie and I are going to have our heads shaved at a St. Baldrick’s Foundation event on March 17th at Congregation Am Shalom in Glencoe, Illinois and your support would mean the world to us. This is all about raising funds to Conquer Childhood Cancers, because worldwide, a child is diagnosed with cancer every 3 minutes.

This year, we have a very special reason for supporting a great cause, which is to show support for Charlie's friend, Becher Sherman. Becher is a third grader who is currently fighting leukemia and Charlie and I are dedicating our efforts to helping his recovery.
