UVA FOR O
Last year Mike Egge’s precious daughter Olivia was diagnosed with a rare and deadly form of bone cancer called Osteosarcoma. This effort prompted Mike and April to dig deeply into finding potential cures for this cancer. They established the Osteosarcoma Collaborative to raise $1.5M for a research grant to find a potential cure. What these efforts uncovered is that there are promising potential treatments for this disease. Olivia has finished her chemotherapy and is in remission. But the recurrence risk for this form of cancer is very high. Our fundraising efforts here are to find a treatment for this insidious form of cancer for Oliva, John Varney and children like them. There is reason to be hopeful. Please join us!
