Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

Zack is 5 years old… He loves taking swim lessons, going to birthday parties and watching Paw Patrol with his twin brother, Teddy. Zack, however, is also battling leukemia for the second time in his short, little life.

Zac is the son of MaryPat Caldwell, a member of the Greenwich Public Schools community and our colleague in Special Education. In honor of Zack and his struggle, which has included trips to Boston Children’s Hospital for “heavy” chemo treatments and a bone marrow transplant from his brother Teddy (the “unsung hero”), members of the Central Middle School Special Education Department will be participating in a St. Baldrick’s fundraiser at Western Middle School on March 15, 2018 at 6:30pm.

We are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
