This is Rick Sauter, the team captain. On April 2nd, it will be my fourth year taking part in this fantastic event with the sole purpose of raising money for childhood cancer research! I will continue to do this until there is no longer a need, that no child has to suffer and no family or friends have to see their loved ones battle this evil monster.  This year I have enlisted the aid of some of my undergraduate brothers in Lambda Chi Alpha (I'm the chapter advisor) to help raise even more money to increase the fight! This is personal to me (for those who don't know the reason I got involved with St. Baldrick's). I saw first hand as an amazing family, that my wife & I know, paid the ultimate sacrifice losing their 2nd born child to this horrific disease. Their child's brave fight and the family who to this day continues to give back in his memory inspire and humble me each day that I think of them. If you can help, please do and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
