On January 20, 2015, our daughter, Sophia, joined the 175,000 kids that were diagnosed with cancer that year. And, in the U.S., one in five will not survive. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for research so we can find more humane treatments and a CURE!  Last year, you amazed us by joining together to raise over $50,000! But our work here is unfortunately not done. I have again set a lofty goal for us, my friends, but I know we can reach it. And, this year, all the funds raised will go into Sophia's Hero Fund, where we get to designate the type of research we want to be funding. Isn't that AWESOME? And YOU can make it happen!

Please help us reach our stretch goal by pledging your support to research, funded by the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to Sophia and thousands of infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support my daughter and all these beautiful kids.

And, if you would like to follow Sophia's personal story, please join us at https://www.lotsahelpinghands.com/c/724879.

Sophia & these kids need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for our daughter and the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Thank YOU!!!
