Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

In 2020, shortly after June first became a big sister, she was thrown into the role of cancer sibling, helping her little brother, Kian, bravely battle aggressive brain cancer for the next two and a half years. June was Kian's number one cheerleader and would spend hours a week crafting special "therapy" toys to help Kian regain his strength and ability to move and play. Each year of Kian's life, June would also help shave her dad's head along with family friend Simon Farranto (and others) to help raise research funds in hopes for a cure. This year June decided to put together a "dream team" to participate in Buckets for St. Baldricks basketball tournament on April 6th.This is the 25th year of St. Baldrick’s raising funds for research to find cures for kids with cancer. And while great progress has been made, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive. Please join us or support June's team with a donation that will fuel critical discoveries, develop new treatments, and save lives.Together, we can accelerate the next 25 years of cures for kids with cancer!
