Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

National Partner

DC Freemasons - FAAM of the District of Columbia

You heard it right - We are shaving our heads in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. We are hosting our fourth annual St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. At last year's event, we raised over $22,000, largely through individual donations made on behalf of our volunteer Shavees; this represented a 69% increase from the previous year. For 2012, we have set our goal at $30,000. To make a charitable contribution, please click on the link to any of our Shavees' individual webpages, then click "Make A Donation." You can also donate by mail or phone; please be sure to include the Shavee's Participant ID. Thank you for your support!
