Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

We are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

This is your Team Captain Katrina speaking. Our group Comic Con Collective & Friends, is made up of a group of friends who, you guessed it, go to comic cons together and geek out about their various nerdy interests and their supportors, i.e. my mother, Kathy. Two of our friends cannot join the group as shavees this time around because of professional reasons. But, Chris and I and my mother are willing to brave the shave to support St. Baldick's and raise some funds. Chris is a repeat shavee and the one that inspired me to participate this year. I then dragged my mother into it, but she likes participating in hijinks so it wan't that difficult to get her to join, plus this is a very worthy cause.

So please, join us in the fun and in the fundraisig to help support St. Baldrick's and childhood cancer research! There's sure to be a good laugh or two becaue, hey, I'm going to be bald. And my mother, too!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
