We're Ben and Sam - TEAM SMITH! We're shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. This is our 3rd (Ben) and 2nd (Sam) year raising money through St. Baldrick's. We grow our hair all year and get it shaved with a bunch of other people at the PNC arena. This year’s big shave is on March 22nd! 

It’s a lot of fun but important work too.  A friend of our mom lost her son to cancer when he was around our age. Mom's friend was a BIG leader and supporter of St. Baldrick's until she suddenly passed away very recently.  We're all thinking of them this year.
