BE THE GOOD YOU WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD.

The Palmer Family and Team Derick the Defeater are at it again! This will be our 6th year joining forces with St. Baldrick's Foundation to raise money for childhood cancer research. The research and clinical trials will allow safer and less taxing treatments for the little heroes fighting this disease.

Each year we devote our time, money, and hair to this amazing cause in honor of Derick. This year , we would like to add a special honoree to Derick the Defeater's Team: Grandpa Darrell Palmer. On October 4th, 2018, our family was devastated by the loss of our patriarch. Dirk (Derick's Dad), Derick, and Grandpa Darrell are know as the “3DWiPs”, because they all have the same initials, DWP. They were certainly like peas in a pod when they were all together. We have been very blessed to have such a strong family and community to help carry us through these tragic losses. We would love your help in finding a cure. With a community like ours, we can accomplish anything.

Please join our team and help raise money for childhood cancer research/cures. You don't have to shave your hair to participate. Some other ideas are volunteering your time at our event, sign up as a Derick the Defeater Team member and collect donations, virtual shave from wherever you live, start your own fundraiser doing what you want to do for the cause. Just send me a message and I will get you started or point you in the right direction.  Look through St. Baldrick's website to see all the facts and exactly what is done with donations.

To read a little about Derick click this link: https://www.stbaldricks.org/hero-funds/derickthedefeater/ but make sure you come back and join us.
