I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Parker - No Hair for Aunt Claire

It's my third year as a shavee yet participating in this great event just gets better and better. The money raised for pediatric cancer research far exceeded my personal expectations. Shaving my head was just part of the experience, though I took full advantage of the opportunity. I thought I'd set a goal of two weeks to raise $500. Like last year, I'm seeking contributions from all my friends, followers, connections and past supporters. The research funded by St. Baldrick's has advanced considerably in recent years. If only this research was conducted when my kid sister, Claire, had Stage 2 cancer removed roughly eight years ago. The doctor passed it over as if it didn't matter. Thankfully to all of us today, Claire insisted further diagnosis. Love you Goose! As vice president for the Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation, which provides support to families of children undergoing cancer treatment, I am wholeheartely committed to supporting patients and families affected by this devastating disease. Please support the shaving of my head and, more importantly, the research conducted as a result of the St. Baldrick's event. Please consider a contribution with which you feel comfortable. No matter your level of support, not a day will pass without my active pursuit of providing the finest support possible to those affected by cancer. Thank you very, very much.
