I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Douglas County Investigations Division

Thank you all for coming to look and see why I have decided to shave my head for childhood cancer research. I have been growing this mop out for the last 8 months. St. Baldrick's is the world's largest volunteer-driven fundraising event for childhood cancer research. Thousands of volunteers shave their heads in solidarity of children with cancer, while requesting donations of support from friends and family. I am shaving my head in loving memory of Isabella Ackerson who lost her life at 8 months of age. Isabella was diagnosed November 10, 2006 with Infant ALL/MLL Leukemia, not a very common diagnosis (for infants.) She responded very quickly to her treatment and was in remission after only 7 weeks of Chemotherapy. Isabella developed viral pneumonia Christmas Eve and lost her life on December 27, 2006. Throughout her treatment she was such a little trooper, always wearing a smile and spreading joy to each person who she came in contact with. Please support me in my goal of raising $1000 for this cause. Thank you.
