I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: FTK - For the Kids

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: FTK - For the Kids

This is my second year participating in St. Baldrick's. I would like to dedicate this shave for the two brave men who I am very fortunate to call my friends, Zach Mesch and Huan Nguyen. They both lost their battles with pediatric cancer within this past year, but I have full hope that their pains have been traded for Eternal joy and happiness. I would also like to dedicate this to everyone from the Camp Wapiyapi family, where I met Jake, my honorary kid. Camp Wapiyapi is a non-profit organization that offers free year-round family retreats and also free week-long summer camps in the beautiful Colorado mountains in which children affected by cancer and their siblings have a chance to forget about their pains and just be kids. I was fortunate enough to have been a companion/counselor for three summers, and I hope to come back soon once I am finished with grad school.

Still almost a month away, my hair is already longer than last time and is getting out of hand- bring on the buzz! I appreciate all of the support, and thank you for helping contribute to stop childhood cancer. God bless!
