I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Shave and a Haircut, Two Sibs

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Shave and a Haircut, Two Sibs

Well, I'm officially having my head shaved. :D Though part of this is for personal "I-want-something-new/drastic/to-start-fresh-with-my-hair" reasons, most of this is to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, and even more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Since being unemployed and broke for over four months now, I haven't been able to lend tithe-support to organizations such as St. Baldricks or Invisible Children, and that's been bothering me. I don't have time to volunteer at any homeless shelters, I'm too anemic to give blood...So the only thing I have left of myself to give is my hair. I could just decide to cut off ten inches and leave it at that, but unfortunately, one new wig isn't going to help fund cancer research.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation! This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift, no matter how small or large it may be, will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thanks so much. :)
