I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Shannon's Shining Stars

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Shannon's Shining Stars

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

This past year has shown me that cancer is a formidable foe, and doesn't give up quietly.  We have to continue the fight for at least another two years and after that we will always have to be on guard.  We are so thankful for the research that has made it possible for my daughter Shannon to receive the treatments and procedures that are working as we look forward to the day that she can put this all behind her.

Thank you for your generous donations.  I can tell you from my visits to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital that too many children and their families have to face the reality of cancer, and I am hoping one day children will no longer have to worry about cancer affecting their lives.
