I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TNT Purple Brigade

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!

I am Shaving in Honor of the following children: Emily Stone - if it were not for her and her mother I would not be brave enough to participate in this event. Pictured together in the 2009 after pic. Jacob Hoekstra - a young survivor who thought I rocked when I shaved in 2009! I will keep you close in my heart. Noah Lamacki - My TNT Honored Hero for AMBBR. He is 22 months old and has just reached maintenance stage of treatment. Diagnosed 12/15/09 Infant ALL he has been braving intense treatments for 13 months. Another 12 months of treatment lie ahead for Noah. (See Noah in the photo gallery) I am shaving in Memory of: Will Kelly - Age 17 - He was our TNT Honored Hero for AMBBR last year but due to complications of treatment he went home to Heaven 2 weeks before the event. He was a kind and generous young man who set a great example of how we should live our life. Giving my hair is such a small gesture compared to what Will gave. (you can see Will with the bike he planned to ride in the photo gallery) Mike Lerud - Also age 17, also another teammate who passed away a week before the event he had registered to participate in. Raising money and riding a bike to help find a cure for the terrible disease that ultimately took his life. I will Ride/ I will Shave what ever it takes to find a cure and save the lives of these innocent children. Thank you! Rose
