I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Beard is Weird

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Beard is Weird

Just take a moment and read, by the time you are done 1 child will have been diagnosed with some type of childhood cancer...

Why am I shaving my Beard, with St. Baldrick’s? (After year 4 of St. Baldricks my hair stopped growing back, apparently the universe wants me to have my head shaved in solidarity for the kids 24/7) Because I lost my father to cancer and that was rough enough.  I don't want to think about losing a child.  Every donation “on my head, (Beard)” will actually save lives.  You can visit a treatment center that has benefited from your donations right here in Las Vegas

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic, (as they say in TENN the flu) has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.

I have taken up the challenge to complete an Ironman Triathlon in September 2022.I will swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles, and run 26.2 miles. That is 140.6 miles total no motorized vehicles just my two legs and two arms. I will document my journey this year while training, continuing to be healthy and competing in other endurance events along the way to Tennesse for IRONMAN CHATTANOOGA. Hopefully along the way I inspire you to donate, workout, help someone in need, volunteer your time, make someone smile, tell someone you love them. there is more than one way to help. No matter how big or how small everything helps.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down.  I will raise more than $100.00 per mile I complete in races this year.  Be the HERO in the story and give another child a fighting chance.

I want to thank you for your newfound support, your previous support, and your continued support.  Our Children are Our Future.

Cheers Ross
