I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: A Picture Worth 1000 Words - 2012

Cancer Sucks. Kids do not. Get it? It is that simple. So I'm going to shave my head and show these kids that they have folks, who do not even know them, who love them, and are willing to work, to donate, and to care for them, no matter what. It's a mean world out there - take all you problems, and then imagine your a 8 year old who just learned he has a disease that even adults fear. It's so simple - we HAVE TO FIND WAYS to get research done, to treat kids , to comfort their parents, who are standing there looing at everything they love while it suffers - WE HAVE TO DO THIS. But there is hope. We know survivors - we know folks, kids and adults , who , thanks to the dedicated work or Doctors and the march of science are now cancer free. Imagine that - CANCER FREE. what if we could all one day have to think back to the last time we even heard of someone having cancer? You call me crazy - I say we can do it. So let's start right now - right here. Donate. Study. Talk to others. Pass the word and lets make CANCER a history question, not a boogey man who claims little kids. To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone. Thank you for your support!
