I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: General Re Team

Years ago, as a volunteer on the cancer floor at Schneider Children’s Hospital, I was amazed by the courage and grace of kids battling cancer. Their days were filled with difficult tests and treatments, yet they continued to be silly and laugh, play and dream – continued to be kids. I have never forgotten their strength and love for life. As a father of three healthy children I feel it’s important to help others who are fighting the biggest battle of their lives. By shaving my head, I hope to draw attention to the plight of children battling cancer, while raising funds for childhood cancer research. This year when I announced that I will once again shave my head, I was touched by my 7 year old son, Charlie, who told me that he too wants to shave his head and help other kids. So, on March 17th Charlie and I will shave our heads with the hope that someday soon kids won’t have to worry about tests, treatments and losing their hair, and can concentrate on doing what kids do best – just being kids. Please help by making a donation – anything you can give is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support! Sincerely, Neil (and Charlie)
