I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Ragnar

Last year, I saw a man with an epic beard step up to the challenge of shaving his head for St Baldrick's. While he was on stage, the MC tried to convince him to also shave his beard, even going as far as getting $1,000 in pledged donations from the crowd. I was not able to raise that much money last year, so this time around, I'm growing a scraggly mess below my chin, which I laughingly call a beard. I've challenged my friends and family to raise the full $1,000 before the event, at which time I will sacrifice my facial hair. My wife is motivated to help as well as she no longer wants questions about the "homeless guy" that hangs around our neighborhood. - By the way, if I don't raise the $1,000 in time, I may have to try to grow it long enough for locks of love - don't torture some poor kid by making them wear my chin on their head!
