I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald Pigeons

Hi guys! I am Simon Restrepo, a freshman at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Why am I shaving my head? Because I think it this is a wonderful opportunity to help kids with cancer. If I can help that cause just by shaving my head, I think that is an obvious choice. More importantly, I want to show these kids love. Cancer is a vicious disease. It can spread all over the body and cause people to have to undergo treatments throughout their lives, and even if it seems to have been destroyed it must be under constant check, just to make sure it doesn't reappear.

The Bible teaches that there is a disease that goes deeper than the body making even the soul desperately sick: sin. It says that all of us are born with it, and that we sin every day. And it says that the only way to be remedied is to trust in Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who bore our sins on the cross so that we could have eternal life.

I would ask for donations so that I can help to spread Christ's love to those who are suffering in this life. And if you do not know Christ I would ask that you thoughtfully consider His free offer of salvation. Thank you all!

Edit: Thank you all for your generous donations!
