I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hi Friends, I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! This is my third year doing. First year raised $295. Second year $3,291. Goal for this year is $4,000. I will personally match total donations across everyone till 3,000. So its 2x the giving. Thank you!

Why is Childhood cancer so different?

• Childhood cancers are not related to lifestyle factors and little can be done to prevent them.

• Children can’t be treated the same as adults even when kids get cancer that adults get.

• Cure is not enough as the survivors will have chronic health problems growing up. So in addition to finding cures, research is focused on preventing lifelong damage.

Children should be spending time playing & exploring their curiosities of the world, and not having to deal with the harsh realities of cancer.
