When my mom started chemo, I decided that I would shave my head in support of her battle. When Toryn, a young girl I taught in one of my preK classes decided she would shave her head at the St. Baldrick's event, it inspired me to help raise money and awareness for childhood cancer. If I'm going to shave my head, I might as well do my best to raise as much money as I can at the same time.
My three year old, Reece & I will shave our heads next month at Old Bag of Nails in honor of not only children, but adults as well. {Dexter Adams, Stacey Vogt, & Sherry Vipperman}
Please share and help bring awareness to this amazing event being hosted in Mansfield. Below is the link to our team page if you would like to donate or sign up to be a shavee and a part of our team. You can donate to Reece or I individually or to our team in support of my mom. I have chosen $1,212 as our team goal because she was diagnosed on 12.12
Thank you for helping a cause so dear to my heart. xo
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
