I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Striving for More

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Striving for More

You heard right...3rd time is a charm! I'm shaving my head (for my third consecutive year) in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!

With your collective efforts, I've been able to raise close to $18,000 in the past two years and am hoping to increase that amount to $23,000 this year. For those who don't know, I lost my best childhood friend, Alex Dean, in 7th grade to brain cancer. Four years later on March 24, 2001, I experienced the tragic passing of my oldest brother, Bryce Randall Ward, due to chemotherapy complications from two brain tumors. Bryce was only 20 years old when he left this world.

I share these personal stories with you because myself like thousands of others, have lost a loved one from a battle with cancer. Any donation you can contribute to this admirable cause would be more than appreciated. To make the fundraising effort more enjoyable for all ya'll out there, I've vowed not to cut my hair for 5 months, and in return I'm asking for $5,000 in donations. I hope you enjoy the "5 Months for 5 Grand" fro pictures... and remember, no donation is too small!

Thank you so much for your support!

Sean Ward
