I’m shaving my head to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly to raise money for finding cures. Lily and Andre live in live Pueblo. Both kids were just two years old when they were diagnosed with leukemia. Lily’s chemotherapy treatment has taken all of her hair. Andre is now eight years old and in remission. He’s an active boy who likes soccer. No child deserves to go thru what Lily and Andre have gone thru; and that is why I’m shaving my head on March 15th! But, I’m not going to shave my head for nothing! I’ve pledged to raise $2500 towards the event. Will you sponsor my head shaving to help fight childhood cancer? St. Baldricks is the charity that raises the most money for childhood cancer research; and they do it in a fun way. Every year around St. Patrick’s Day thousands of people pledge to raise money to sponsor their head shaving. All the proceeds go straight to St. Baldricks to fight cancer and are tax deductible.
