I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

A dear friend of mine said recently, "I hate cancer so much I wish it was a person, so that I could punch it in the face." Kids' Cancer, in particular, deserves a sound butt-whooping. Don't you think? On Monday, August 13th at 1:20am, precious 3 year-old Carter Bucciero earned his angel wings after nearly a year-long vicious fight with brain cancer. My sweet friends, the Buccieros (Sarah, Paul, and Mason) no longer have to worry about Carter's suffering, and while I grieve with them, I thought the upcoming St. Baldrick's event in Winston-Salem on September 15th would be the perfect opportunity to honor Carter and the lives he's touched. St. Baldrick's is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more childhood cancer research grants than any other organization except the U.S. government. I am trying to raise $1,000 for Carter, the Buccieros, and all others touched by pediatric cancer who pray for new treatments and cures every day. When I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. Won't you help me conquer kids' cancer?! Let's punch it in the face!
