I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald Bulldogs

Hi my name is Nicole D. and I am 11 years old and a 6th grader at Romeo Middle School. Once I heard about how you can get your head shaved for people with cancer I wanted to do it. I was thinking, and thinking then I was debating about not doing it because some people would make fun of me, but then I thought that the reason they would make fun of me is because all they see is a little girl who has a bald head. Then I thought about the kids with cancer who have to face this everyday because they are sick. They don't have a choice about how people see them, judge them, or even make fun of them. I think they are the bravest people alive! I also thought about how my dad died of cancer about 5 years ago. Cancer is a horrible disease that has affected my life and my families. So because of these reasons I decided I wanted to shave my head in honor of my dad. So if you read this please help me raise money and donate! Thanks again!!!:) -Nicole D.
