Yup! I'm shaving my head to donate it to children who lose their hair during their treatments. In so doing, I hope to raise money for these children and cancer research as well!
This event means a lot to me. I want to work as a nurse in Pediatric Oncology and I know this experience will help me relate better to patients. I foresee a young boy or girl that is about to start treatment worrying about losing their hair. I want to be able to ease this patient’s fears with confidence and empathy when I say, “It’s okay to be bald!” This is something I am really excited about and your support would mean so much to me! ☺ I cannot wait for this day and I hope you all join me in one way or another. Thank you so much for you support and please come out on March 24th!!
Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone. Thank you for your support!
