I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

As I sit here and write this I can't believe this will be my 16th year doing this. And while I have a bit less hair than I did when I started, my commitment to finding a cure for these children is as strong as ever. So once again I'm shaving my head, beard and mustache to raise money for childhood cancer research! You may not know this but kids' cancers are different from adult cancers. This means the treatments already discovered for many of the adult cancers are not effective on children's cancer. Add to that the number of different cancers a child could contract along with the fact that only 4% of the money provided by the federal government is allocated for children's cancer research and you'll realize why childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
