I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Luke's Syracuse Army

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Luke's Syracuse Army

As many of you know, for the past three years I and many of my friends from Syracuse have shaved our heads as part of the St. Baldrick's Foundation effort to raise money to fight childhood cancers. A couple that Crystal and I are very close to - Scott and Sheila Ungerer - lost their son Luke to brain cancer three years ago. Luke fought glioblastoma, a very rare cancer in children, for almost a year before going home to the Lord just shy of his fourth birthday. Luke was the same age as Anastasia, born just 6 hours before she was, and that connection has always been very special to Crystal and me. In Luke's memory, Scott, Sheila, and their family and friends organized a huge effort to raise money for pediatric cancers. For three years in a row, the Syracuse St. Baldrick's event has raised a huge amount of money - about $1.5 million - even more than far larger cities like Chicago, Denver, and Las Vegas. This year, we're hoping to do even more! Please consider supporting my fundraising effort at Kitty Hoyne's Restaurant in Syracuse, NY on March 31, 2019. I'm encouraging everyone to consider giving at least $50 to provide that much more more life-saving research to battle pediatric cancer. Thank you!!!
