I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Mayfield high school

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Mayfield high school

This will be my 10th year shaving for st.baldricks and possibly my last as I am afraid my hair will stop growing back. This issue is incredibly important to me as many thousands of kids my age and younger are affected every year and unfortunately many die from the effects of childhood cancer. It is impossible for me to Imagine being locked in a hospital for month and years, I love the outdoors hiking, riding my bike, and running cross country it is heart breaking that children younger than me do not get to do the same things I do because of cancer. In 2018 my school lost a mayfield family member her name was Kayla she died from a cancerous brain tumour. Hence why, in most years I’ve gone to the Cleveland heights community center for my st.baldricks shave, this year my school has asked me to instead lead them as a knight of the bald table (to be a knight commander this year) at UH rainbow babies. My goal this year is 300 dollars I have raised much more in the past but I was a lot cuter back then. I hope that everyone who reads this will also see how important this issue is and can donate some money for this excellent cause. Although this is my final year I want it to be a good one and one that will really pack a punch so please donate, I will try to get as many personal thank you’s out as I can and the rest will be by email. Thank you for visiting my page. Love, Hayden.
